We’ll take you to a gentle section of the Clackamas or Sandy river where we’ll show you the basics of river running. With a certified instructor supervising you can practice peel outs, ferries, eddy turns and even your roll in a safe environment. Northwest River Guides holds four-hour beginning whitewater river classes weekends all summer. Saturday classes start at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday classes begin at 2:00 p.m.
